Welcome to Damali Burmese. If you are hoping for a beautiful Burmese kitten, please note that WE DON'T KEEP A WAITING LIST. We have people contact us every day asking about availability, and we may have more than a hundred enquiries about a single litter.
In the past we have tried to call them all back, but many have already found a kitten, or have changed their minds. Perhaps we don't have the colour or sex that they want, or they don't answer or don't return our call. It is time consuming, frustrating and ultimately unworkable. The period from mating to when a kitten is ready for its new home is five months, and a lot can change in that time.
We also can't make kittens to order. Litters may have eight kittens or only two, and we can't know the colour or sex until they are born. If you want a brown girl, or a chocolate boy for example, we might need three or four litters before we can match a kitten to your request. And that could be a wait of eighteen months, two years or more.
So when you first contact us we'll give you our best guess as to when our next litter is due. We ask you to contact us again around that time, if you are still interested. We have litters usually twice a year. Check our Facebook page for photos and regular updates.
